Marrow bones, short rib bones, avocado pits, pea flower tea & squid ink - 2024
This was originally supposed to be a piece highlighting the motion of avocado pits as they slowly released from a melting block of ice. When that effect turned out underwhelming, I utilized the shapes of two different bones to become a new focal point. I usually pair bones with stronger and more intense pigments. In this case, I did the opposite.
