Corn silk, squid ink & hibiscus - 2024

I never intended for the yin and yang effect of the squares but it really grew on me. The black one in particular has lots of texture from the corn silk when you observe it up close.

The white square resulted from pigments being pressed beneath glass and drying that way. The squid ink was pulled under only so far. As for why some tea dried purple and other didn’t I couldn’t say.
